Rebel meets Bembel was founded in 2009 by Heinrich XIII and the Devilgrass Pickers to bring something innovative and original to the regular local cover band nights.
This doesn't mean that cover songs are not allowed at RmB shows, but now you can experience professional bands from around the world in and around Wölfersheim, mostly
showcasing their own material. The main focus is on "Roots Music", but essentially, anything that resonates is welcome. In fact, at the very first Rebel meets Bembel show,
alongside Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies, there was even a pure metal band.
All concerts are usually opened by Heinrich XIII and the Devilgrass Pickers themselves.
